Mother kills her baby because he had a micropenis

Today, I have for you a penile story that is really sad and disturbing. It involves a mother who killed her son because he was born with a micropenis.

The story is very recent and occurred about 5 months ago, hitting the news on the 28th of February, 2013. The incident occurred in Jakarta (also known as Special Capital Region of Jakarta), the capital of Indonesia.

According to the announcement made by the police, a 38 year old mother took the decision to kill her newly born son because he was born with a very small penis.

The woman claimed that she was very worried for her son, saying that his micropenis would lead to a 'bleak future' !!

Honestly, I think that even a "bleak" future is better than no feature at all !

The mother killed the baby by drowning it in her bath that was filled with water. She then dressed its dead body, laid it on a bed on contacted the police to turn herself over.

The officers said that the woman probably has mental issues (what a revelation !) and made her undergo -after arresting her -several psychological tests to assess her mental state.

A micropenis !

The police also mentioned that the mother told them that her son's micropenis got even smaller after being circumcised.

Although death penalty is still used in Indonesia, it is a very rare practise.. Wonder whether or not it should be applied to her case. What do you think ?

I really wonder how a mother could do this to her own son..Other than that, RIP kid :(

Man accidentally cuts his penis which is subsequently eaten by his dog

I am bored, so I will write about one more story today. I remember reading it many many years ago and finding it to be quite weird and dubious.

The story was released back in the 2004, sometime during October. According to the telegraph, a man from a Romanian village near the southeastern town of Galati had to be hospitalised because he accidentally cut of his penis.

The man, named Constantin Mocanu, chopped his penis off after rushing out to his yard to kill one of his chickens that was particularly "noisy", prohibiting him from sleeping.

However, the man missed with his axe and instead of cutting the chicken's throat, he cut his very own penis !

"I confused it with the chicken's neck. " said Mocanu.

To me, this statement sounds full of bullshit! I mean how confused must someone be to cut his penis instead of the chicken's neck ? My guess is he was either trying some weird sexual stuff on himself or he was under the heavy influence of narcotics! What do you think ?

Mocanu was then admitted to the emergency hospital in Galati and according to the officials he said:

"I cut it ... and the dog rushed and ate it." 

Well, the guy was 67 years old so I guess he wasn't going to need his penis :) I wonder if he is still alive or not !

A comment I read somewhere sums the story quite well: I've heard of choking your chicken but this is ridiculous. Ridicilous, or maybe taking it to a whole new level ? !

First post: 66 year old man with a tiny penis founds out that he is actually a woman !

As hinted by its name, Penile Stories is going to be a blog about stories from all over the world that are somehow related to a penis.

I will start my blog with a relatively recent story that took place about a few weeks ago. The incident occurred in Hong-Kong and the story got out on June 5, 2013.

In this story, a 66-year old Vietnamese man living in Hong Kong went to a local hospital because he had a swollen abdomen that caused him a lot of pain. Two interesting things about this man were that he had a very small penis with anorchia (no testicles) and he was quite short, only 4'5" tall (about 1 metre and 38 centimetres)

The doctors who examined him were left simply speechless, because the true reason behind his swollen abdomen was a cyst on his ovaries ! Yes, the "man" had ovaries, meaning that he was actually a woman and not a man as he thought for the past 66 years of his life !

But how is it possible for a woman to have a penis (even if it is a short one), facial hair and generally male characteristics ?

According to the attending doctors, this was the result of a very unique combination of conditions. The doctors, from the Kwong Wah hospital where the patient was initially treated and from Queen Elizabeth Hospital who later examined him as well, explain that his male characteristics are the result of two extremely rare conditions.

The first condition is a chromosomal abnormality called Turner Syndrome and the second one is a genetic disorder congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Having both disorders is extraordinarily rare while the medical literature contains only six similar cases.

"The patient, by definition, is a woman who cannot get pregnant. But she also has CAH, which gave her the appearance of a man,” said Ellis Hon Kam-lun, a pediatrics professor from a Chinese University.

"It's an interesting and very rare case of having the two combinations. It probably won't be seen again in the near future."

"We report on a 66-year-old Chinese, brought up as male, with a simple virilising form of congenital adrenal hyperplasia associated with Turner's syndrome (karyotype 45,X/47,XXX/46,XX). His late presentation was recognised due to his exceptionally short stature and persistent sexual ambiguity. His condition was only brought to medical attention as he developed a huge abdominal mass, which later turned out to be a benign ovarian mucinous cyst." a segment from what the researchers wrote in the corresponding paper.

Reportedly, the woman decided to continue “perceiving himself as having a male gender with the possible need of testosterone replacement.”
